DUE TO THE SIZE OF THE SNOWBALL MINI-MEET, WE ARE CHANGING THE WARM UP TIME FOR LONG BEACH SWIMMERS FROM 8:00 TO 7:30 AM.

WE NEED TO LIMIT THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE IN THE BALCONY ASWELL; THEREFORE, THERE WILL NOT BE LONG BEACH PARENTS ALLOWED IN THE BALCONY. WE NEED EACH AND EVERYONES HELP TO RUN A MEET OF THIS SIZE. WE HAVE 11 TEAMS AND CLOSE TO 300SWIMMERS ATTENDING.

MUST BE AT LEAST 6 YEARS OF AGE

MUST BE ABLE TO COMPLETE ONE LAP (25 YARDS) PROPER FREESTYLE AND BACKSTROKE

LONG BEACH AQUATICS IS A TEAM COMMITTED TO INSTILLING SKILLS, VALUES AND MORALS, AND NOT ONLY MAKING OUR SWIMMERS THE BEST THEY CAN BE, BUT TO MOLD PRODUCTIVE PEOPLE WHO WILL SUCCEED IN LIFE. LBA IS A TEAM WITH PROFESSIONAL COACHES WHO COMBINE THEIR COMPASSION AND EXPERTISE TO HELP EACH SWIMMER ACHIEVE THEIR GOALS. WHETHER WE HAVE A TEAM OF 50 OR 500, EACH SWIMMER IS TREATED LIKE A STAR.

WHO WE ARE

LBA is a member team of Metropolitan Swimming and USA Swimming training year-round at the Long Beach Recreation Center.

We attend at least one U.S.S. sanctioned meet per month to provide our swimmers the chance to improve their personal best times.
Long Beach Aquatics hosts two U.S.S. sanctioned meets at the Long Beach Recreation Center each swim season.
In addition to the USS competitions, LBA also competes in the Nassau County Swim Conference winter & summer Leagues.

ACCORDING TO THE USA SWIMMING 2010 RULEBOOK

THE FOLLOWING SHALL BE CONSIDERED VIOLATIONS OF THE USA SWIMMING CODE OF CONDUCT AS PER ARTICLE 304.3 SECTION .13

Action, other than through general advertising, by a coach, owner, officer, volunteer, representative, or employee of a swim club, or a USA Swimming or LSC employee, either through direct contact with an athlete or the encouragement of others, to recruit or otherwise encourage an athlete who is already a member of a USA Swimming member swim club to leave that club, unless the acting party receives prior written approval to recruit or encourage the athlete to change affiliation from the designated club representative of the athlete's existing USA Swimming-member swim club or contact is initiated by the athlete, the athlete's parent or authorized representative.

In the event of a violation of this section, a sanction may be imposed against any coach,

owner, officer, volunteer, representative or employee of a swim club, or against any such club, or any combination thereof, as appropriate.
